snow and loads of it!

Well, the snow has truly arrived!
Following the most magical of Christmas's we've been plunged into this icicle festooned wonderland... New Year is just around the corner and it's going to be a cracker.
We've set up "under the awning" once again with our good friend, ex-head chef, best man and head of great new private dining company One Pot Borrowed, Big Al Heaney.
He has a wonderful array of winter warming stews, soup, roast chestnuts and mulled cider, each day in front of the restaurant til the 11th of January.

Hogmanay will see the return of our ever popular Hogget Roast, cooked over the coals out front of the restaurant from around 2pm til its all gone! Wrap up warm and enjoy a fireside chat with some mulled cider...
Our Hogmanay supper club is fully booked now but we still have space on the 1st and 2nd where we'll be joined by some great local musicians for a couple of really special evenings.
No doubt onwards to a beautiful burns night and 2nd birthday party.. it'll be good times and we do hope you can join us, more details to follow.
We will have a wee break from the 14th til the 21st of January but wish you a great Hogmanay party and all the very best for this coming year.

Tis the season to be jolly!

New Year will see the return of the Ord Ban Supper Club; three evenings of feasting and music on the 31st/ 1st & 2nd January.
We are presenting a 6 course taster menu intermingled with a handful of local musicians. Each evening will begin at 6pm/ 6.30pm as we welcome our guests with aperitif and canapes, followed with a selection of our favorite and most popular dishes through the season. The dishes are small portions to allow you to enjoy each one and throughout the evening acoustic music will pop up hear and there so we can relax, chat by the fire and appreciate the occasion of each night.
We expect each evening to run until 10.30pm/ 11pm and would recommend moving up to the Old Bridge Inn to join in the party afterwards.
The price will be £50 per person.
Over the festive period we will be open each day except Christmas day and open for supper on the 26th and 27th of December.
We will also be stepping out front of the restaurant once again with roast chestnuts, mulled cider and hot stew to warm you up.
We look forward to welcoming you over the festivities.
